Overwhelmed Onsite IT and Critical Network Gaps
Remote support through ERate MIBS gives the onsite technician a direct line to expert help.

What Is MIBS Under ERate and When Should Montana School Districts Use It?
How MIBS differs from buying hardware, and when it makes sense.
What we do not do. Schoolhouse IT provides technical and implementation services for network projects with or without ERate support. We do not prepare or file ERate forms, write or score bids, or participate in vendor selection decisions. Districts should rely on their own staff, state resources, or ERate consultants for program compliance.
Questions about ERate support.
Are you an ERate consultant?
No. We are an ERate service provider. Your district and consultant define needs, run the competition and select vendors; we respond as one provider you can consider.
What is the difference between MIBS and BMIC?
MIBS covers monitoring and management of eligible network equipment. BMIC covers repair and maintenance of eligible internal connections.
Do you work with Wyoming districts?
Yes. We provide ERate eligible services for Wyoming districts, including BMIC, MIBS and hardware resell.
Can you help if we already chose a vendor?
We can still review and right-size a network design.
Should we get an assessment before we bid?
It helps. An assessment shows what you have and what is aging, so you and your consultant can decide what goes into the next bid.
